About

Cindy Zampa

Initially attracted to the fluid and transparent nature of watercolours, my curiosity led me to experiment with a variety of mediums. Many of my paintings begin from photo references. I am fortunate to have lived in and travelled to many places, often bringing home treasures like shells and rocks, as well as many photos and lasting memories. The emotional and spiritual topography of places I’ve visited offer rich resource material that is translated onto the canvas.

I love to collaborate with other artists and give back to my community. I contributed three tiles to the “Trust” mural mosaic currently displayed at the Cochrane Ranche House. I’ve donated many hours of work towards creating set designs for plays held at the schools where I’ve taught, and have contributed many pieces of art to various fundraisers.
